Is a pet business
right for you?
Loving animals is a beginning.
When I meet with people, one of the first things I ask is why they're interested in a pet business. The answer is almost always 'I love animals' — and that's genuine, and it matters. But loving animals isn't the same as being built for the business around them. It's a bit like loving to work with the elderly — rewarding, meaningful, but also hard in ways you don't expect, and wrapped in things that have nothing to do with the love itself. Scheduling. Difficult conversations with unhappy customers. Retail sales. The parts nobody mentions when they picture the dream.
Module One is built from what I've learned starting a pet business — and a business, period. It's not a script or a template. It's a way to pull together real research and honest self-knowledge about you, so you're building on solid ground instead of just hope. Doesn't matter if you're eighteen and just starting out, or forty-five with a whole winding story already behind you — this is meant to meet you where you are.

What's Included
Module One includes the core material — what I've learned about figuring out if a pet business actually fits you — plus five guided exercises that put it into practice, and a one-hour consultation call with me to talk through what you found.
Consulting by phone or video for clients across the U.S. and internationally.
So here's what you're actually getting. Five exercises, and you work through them on your own time — your real skills, what you've already got to work with, how much time you genuinely have in a week once life is accounted for, an actual hands-on trial so you're not just imagining it, real conversations with real people who might become customers, and then laying your options side by side so you can actually see them clearly. Give yourself somewhere around two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half hours for all of that. Then we get on a call, about an hour, just you and me, talking through what you found and what it actually means for your life.
After your consultation, I'll send a follow-up email with a summary of everything we covered, plus space for any questions that are still on your mind. I want you to walk away with something concrete, not just a conversation you have to remember on your own.
Pricing
Module One is $300 USD, and that includes all five exercises plus your one-hour consultation with me. If this feels right, send me a message and tell me a little about where you're at. I'll respond personally, and when you're ready to move forward, I'll send over an invoice through Square. Once payment is received, I'll send you the Module One materials. Take your time working through the exercises — there's no rush. Once you've finished, just reach back out and we'll schedule your consultation.
International clients are welcome. Consultations are scheduled during business hours, Eastern Time (US), and all pricing is in USD.

Is Module One only for dog-related businesses?
Not at all. It works for any kind of pet business you're considering — grooming, sitting, training, boarding, retail, aftercare, whatever direction you're weighing. As more modules launch, each one will be specific about what it covers.
What if I start a module and realize partway through that it's not for me?
That's a completely valid outcome, and honestly part of the point. If that happens before your consultation call, you're eligible for a 50% refund — just reach out and let me know.
Do I need any business experience to get started?
Not at all. Whether you're eighteen and just starting to think about this, or forty-five with a whole career already behind you, Module One meets you where you are. There's no experience requirement — just honesty with yourself as you work through it.
